My name is Brett Rayl and I am a recent grad of Furman University in Greenville, SC. I work at Furman now, and will be here for a year. After this year I hope to pursue theological education at a graduate level. I sense a call to full-time ministry, but I am really open as to what that may look like.
I tried blogging for the first time as a senior in college, but found it difficult to post regularly with so much homework. I’m at it again, only this time with a little extra time and more direction.
The title “Making It Clear” comes from Colossians 4:2-4. In this passage Paul is asking for prayer that he would have opened to him “a door for the word” so as to clearly articulate the Gospel to others. That is what this blog is about. There are links, quotes, commentary, and more, but all are for the purpose of making things clear for and about the Gospel. So if you’re a long time believer, a skeptic, someone of another faith, or a new disciple you are welcome here. Please feel free to comment and interact freely and respectfully. Grace and peace.
